The peat in this release imparts a rich, earthy and medicinal smoke, complimenting Tobermory's coastal spirit and light fruitiness.

Ledaig is the peated malt whisky made in the Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull. Established in 1798, the distillery has a colourful history. Founded by John Sinclair and run for many successful years, the Great Depression and prohibition in America saw the distillery close for 41 years until the 1990s.
A harmony of peat and sherry. Christmas cake, dried fruits, smoked kippers. Complex in flavour. The peat is prominent but not overpowering, balanced by the oak influence.
