About us
Founded by Ellie Asthana Gibson, Azu Spirits began with a love and fascination for single malt whisky and a desire to share exceptional spirits in a more engaging, personal way. We started trading in 2021, hosting gin and whisky tastings and launching the Whisky Club at the Cridford Inn. Inspired by these themed tasting events, we released our first collection of blind tasting sharing boxes—designed for a unique at-home experience.
In 2023, we developed our blind tasting gift sets and introduced a new range of themed whisky collections. After connecting with some incredible craft gin distilleries across the UK, we launched our Regional Craft Gin tasting collections—celebrating the quality, diversity, and stories behind premium British gin.
In 2024, we expanded into Mixology Masterclasses and cocktail tasting events, inspired by Ellie’s time at Melbourne’s iconic cocktail bar, 1806. These immersive sessions explore the artistry of mixology and showcase premium spirits and liqueurs for an elevated tasting experience

Scotch Whisky Tastings
Let us introduce you to the incredible diversity and quality of premium single malt Scotch whisky. We'll arrive with everything needed to take you and your group through six diverse single malts. Led by experts in single malt whisky, delve deep into the science, history and roots of flavour, or enjoy a selection of the finest spirits side-by-side and challenge yourselves to identify which is which for an entertaining tasting experience.
Craft Gin Tastings
Explore local craft gins with our regional collections, or select six diverse spirits to explore and discover the inspiring stories behind the spirits. Our regional gin collections include Devon Gins, Craft Gins of the Cotswolds, London Gins & Yorkshire Craft Gins. Designed as a blind tasting, taste each gin side-by-side and explore their distinctive differences.
Mixology Masterclasses
Taste and make a selection of quality cocktails for an entertaining experience pefect for hen parties and group celebrations. Work with us to create a bespoke menu, and we'll bring shakers and cocktail equipment, spirits and liqueurs, printed menus and everything needed to take you through the selection.
Drinks for Larger Events
We can supply ice, glassware, surface space and events staff on top of a bespoke drinks list for larger events. We can provide great deals on bulk orders and offer specialist advice.
