This sweet, small and informal distillery dates back to 1897 and, although recently renovated and expanded, the older parts of the distillery and processes of production retain a traditional and rustic charm. Best known for its smooth, rounded and affordable whiskies, since La Martiniquaise took over the distillery has been experimenting with a number of interesting cask finishes!
Layers of delicate smoke, vanilla, fruit and coconut on the palate. The soft peat balances with the toasted oak and spice notes.
